is a New York City-based singer/songwriter with a crystalline tone and charismatic stage presence that shine through her poetic pop songs.
Her second album, Hand On The Stove (Pommier Music, 2005), garnered wide acclaim, and the video for her first single, "Who's Your Angel," went to #3 on MTV's Logo Network. Liz has opened for well-known musicians such as Joe Walsh, Ritchie Havens, Linda Perry, Bob Schneider, and The Counting Crows.
Liz has just finished recording her 3rd album, Pursuit- due out in fall or 2008- her most honest songwriting to date. In efforts to raise money independently for her new CD, she sold over 200 pre-orders strictly through fan contributions. Liz has been touring and gaining respect in the U.S., U.K., and Ireland, and playing locally in New York with her band at venues such as Rockwood Music Hall, the Living Room, and the Red Lion. She has also touring with one of her musical side projects, the three-part harmony female trio, "Girl Parts", which raises money for Domestic and Sexual Violence awareness.
Born into a music loving family in Denver, CO., she was raised on a strict diet of rock and roll and folk music. At 12, she taught herself the guitar so she could play songs by her favorite band, the Beatles. In her later teens, she toured colleges and festivals throughout the West extensively in support of her first self-released record Love and War, which sold nearly 3,000 copies.
